Before your treatment If you are visiting us for the first time you will be asked a few questions so that we can check for any contraindications and to make sure we also understand your requirements so that we can treat you holistically. You will receive a seated Indian Head Massage which allows for a nice, fluid treatment on a comfortable massage chair. It is not necessary to remove any clothes prior to treatment – if you choose to have your treatment over your clothing please wear a close fitting top. If you decide you’d like oils applying during your massage (which we highly recommend!) you’ll be asked to remove your clothing from your upper body and will be given a towel to wrap round you. Whether you choose to have your Indian Head Massage with oils or not, you will be asked to remove any necklaces, earrings and glasses. If you have shoulder length or longer hair it’s fine to arrive with your hair tied up or this can be done at the start of the treatment. All hair ties will be removed part way through the treatment to allow for the full scalp massage to be given. After your treatment: We will ask for your feedback so your next treatment can be adapted accordingly. Some weeks you may wish to leave feeling calm, others you may wish to leave feeling invigorated, or you may really love a particular movement and would like to have more time spent on that. Finally, aftercare advice is provided to every client at the end of their 1st treatment. After your first appointment you'll also benefit from our calma loyalty scheme.
